Cheerful, vital, deep, elegant, neutral, delicate … The double chromatic proposal of Pantone, specialists in color, for this spring-summer has a bit of everything. Discover what colors are going to devastate this season
PANTONE COLORS SPRING SUMMER 2019:
Each season, Pantone Color Institute team creates the Pantone Fashion Color Trends Report. These 16 color proposals are what we will find, not only in
PARTY, AN ORANGE RED:
This color stands out for its chromatic intensity, which will fill any corner of the house with energy and vitality. It is a festive color, radiating passion and emotion. It is perfect to give a counterpoint of color to very neutral environments or, as here, very sober tones.
JESTER RED, A RED CLAY:
The red that Pantone has chosen for this season is deep, intense, urban, and very elegant. Use it with moderation, as has been done here in this cupboard, and you will give personality without saturating the environment since it is a color of a great character.
TURMERIC, A SPICY ORANGE:
This turmeric color is a vivifying orange that instills a touch of acrimony in the Pantone palette for this spring-summer.
LIVING CORAL, THE COLOR OF THE PANTONE YEAR:
The Living Coral is an affable, cheerful and vital coral tone that stands out for its golden nuances that provide energy and dynamism but with a touch of softness. It brings warmth and conveys comfort and optimism, being a great ally to color the house this spring-summer.
PINK PEACOCK, A FESTIVE ROSE:
This pink that reminds us of the classic fuchsia is elegant and intense, but at the same time has a vital character that makes it perfect to give color, in a timely manner, to a very neutral environment, as has been done here with these bergère type armchairs.
PEPPER STEM, A VERY VITAL GREEN:
It is one of the colors of Pantone spring-summer proposals that pays homage to nature. It is a cheerful and bright green, which will give an informal and jovial touch to any space. Here, with the elegant gold details and the marble of the countertop, it creates an attractive contrast.
ASPEN GOLD, AN ENERGETIC YELLOW:
This sunny yellow is vital, stimulating, energetic and stimulates feelings of joy and good vibes.
PRINCESS BLUE, A BRIGHT BLUE:
This is a majestic, elegant and personal blue, which shines and fills an environment with energy. It is therefore indicated to highlight some element, as has been done in this classic façade, coloring the windows and shutters, the door and even the awning and chair.
SWEET LILAC, A LAVENDER THAT LOOKS PINK:
For Pantone, the sweet lilac is an endearing lavender infused with pink, resulting in a sweet, feminine but not cheesy color.
TERRARIUM MOSS, AN ELEGANT AND DEEP GREEN:
This green evokes the beauty of the natural world but with a more sober and calm nuance. If you bet on it on the walls, as here, you will create an elegant and timeless atmosphere, which marries perfectly with medium-toned woods and country- style
MANGO MOJITO, A VIBRANT GOLDEN YELLOW:
Is it yellow or is it orange? According to Pantone, it is yellow with golden shades, responsible for this very personal orange spot. It is a warm color, which transmits comfort and energy and a point of impudence. In this kitchen, it breaks with the total-white look, adds color and warmth.
TOFFEE, SWEETLY CARAMELIZED
This is a warm, intense color, but at the same time with a sweet nuance. It is a color that will give personality to any environment, although for its intensity, it appreciates bright and spacious spaces, especially if it is used, as here, on the walls.
I AM A BEAN, A VERY COMFORTABLE NEUTER:
It belongs to the neutral palette of Pantone’s chromatic proposal for this spring-summer. This soft color stands out for its versatility, going from being a discreet base tone to providing a very personal note of color.
ECLIPSE, AN ALMOST BLACK BLUE:
This color, also from the range of neutrals, recalls the midnight sky, hence its proximity to black. The Eclipse is reflective, serious and, at the same time, mysterious.
SWEET CORN, SWEET AND VERY COMBINABLE
It is part of the neutral range of Pantone’s chromatic proposal. Soft, buttery and with a subtle golden hue, it is a timeless color that fits in any decorative style.
BROWN GRANITE, DEEP
It is a strong and authentic color, which stands out for its character. Being a color of the land range, it is timeless and very welcoming.
NEW NATIVE, THE MOST MULTICULTURAL PALETTE FOR THIS SPRING 2019
This is the chromatic palette that, according to Pantone, will mark the decoration this spring-summer. This proposal is based on natural tones: “It is a palette where concerns disappear and the designs are playful so that the result is a mix of old and new influences, traditional and experimental, synthetic and organic”.
BARN RED, A CAMOUFLAGED RED:
Magenta is the base of this color, but it is so dark that it tends to a clayey brown. Because of its chromatic
DAZZLING BLUE, AN ELECTRIC BLUE:
It is the most provocative of Pantone’s New Native palette. It is intense and
GINGER, RESOUNDING AND DELICATE:
Halfway between a powerful orange and a nuanced red, the Ginger is a warm color very rich in nuances that, in small doses, gives space personality and character while in excess it can be somewhat baroque.
CADMIUM YELLOW, NUANCED AND ELEGANT:
It is a calm and cozy color, which often diffuses along with other elements to give prominence to darker pieces, without being the protagonist of the space.
TERRA COTTA, A VERY NATURAL LAND
It is the dirtiest of the seven colors that make up the New Native palette. Full of shades of pink and brown, for its tonality, it is perfect for spaces with a rural flavor or closely linked with nature.
RUM RAISIN, CUM LAUDE IN ELEGANCE:
It is the most stylish of the Pantone New Nature family. Its tone reminds of coffee beans and pure chocolate, creating elegant spaces, with a marked contemporary character and with a lot of character.
